Service Standards
Effective 26 September 2026
These are the standards every EMBACCI artist keeps on every booking. They add to the Artist Agreement. Clients book EMBACCI because these standards hold every time, so we check them in reviews and reports, and repeated or serious breaches can lead to suspension.
1. Arriving
- Arrive at the booked time, ready to start. Tap On my way when you leave and Start when you begin, so the client can follow your progress.
- If you're delayed, message the client in the app as soon as you know, with a realistic arrival time.
- If you can't make a booking, cancel it in the app as early as possible. A late cancellation, or not arriving at all (a no-show), counts against your record and may cost you offers; repeated no-shows lead to a review of your account.
2. Hygiene
- Clean and disinfect brushes, sponges and tools before every client. Never reuse a sponge, mascara wand, lip applicator or lash strip between clients; use single-use applicators for eyes and lips.
- Use a clean palette or spatula to take product from pots; never apply straight from a shared pot to skin.
- Keep your airbrush gun, lines and compressor cleaned to the maker's instructions, with a fresh cleaning pass before each client.
- Wash or sanitise your hands before you start and whenever you touch your phone or kit bag.
- Don't work while unwell with anything contagious. Cancel and tell us instead.
3. Products and skin safety
- Read the client's intake before you arrive, especially skin type, allergies and sensitivities.
- Offer a patch test for any product the client hasn't used before if they've listed a sensitivity, and never use a product they've said they react to.
- Use products that are in date and stored properly. Tell the client what you're using if they ask.
4. Conduct
- Be courteous, calm and discreet. Dress neatly and modestly in plain, clean clothing suited to working in a client's home, hotel or venue.
- Keep conversation professional. Don't ask for personal details, ratings or tips.
- Respect the client's space: set up only where they show you, protect surfaces, and leave the area as you found it.
- Keep all contact inside the EMBACCI app, and take payment only through EMBACCI.
5. Privacy and photographs
- What you see and hear at a booking stays private. Never share a client's address, details or photos.
- Don't photograph or film a client, or anything that identifies them, without their clear agreement at the time, and never post or share such images anywhere.
- Your portfolio shows your work, never a client's face.
6. Safety
- If you ever feel unsafe, leave and use Call EMBACCI emergency line in the app.
- Report any incident, complaint or injury through the app the same day.
